Verplank had developed a personal relationship with Nelson, a golf legend, making his one-stroke victory at the Nelson Open all the more poignant. Lakeview Golf Course is open for one more golf season. Pat Shannon, left, signed a one-season lease to operate Lakeview Golf Course on Monday. He and Ryan Kreykes, right, new golf course manager, began work at the course on Tuesdsay. Hoich has leased the course to Pat Shannon, co-owner of Bay Hills Golf Course in Plattsmouth. Shannon is the co-owner of Bay Hills Golf Course in Plattsmouth. He comes from the Bay Hills golf staff, and this is his first golf club manager position. read more
