(Golf News) Golf’s a hit with Macquarie Tutorial Centre kids (Armidale Express)

A GROUP of students from Macquarie Tutorial Centre are learning valuable life skills thanks to a sporting initiative. Bathurst Golf Club professional Wayne Dodd has volunteered his time and has taken a group of 14 boys under his wing. He has been at the Walmer Driving Range week putting the lads through their paces in what Macquarie Tutorial Centre (MTC) head teacher, Anthony Johnston, describes as a great initiative. Mr Johnston said the boys will be learning all aspects of the game, with emphasis on the socials skills and the technical developments of the swing. read more
